Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Rub 1 1/2 tablespoon of grapeseed oil on salmon fillet and season with the rub.
  4. Add remaining oil to preheated skillet and heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  5. Add fish skin-side up. Cook 4-5 minutes, turn over and cook an additional 4 minutes, depending on thickness of fish.
  6. Spoon bacon jam over fish and bake 1-2 minutes to finish cooking (allow 10 minutes total cooking time per inch of thickness).
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve.
