Cook pasta according to package directions, set aside.
While pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1.5 teaspoons of garlic and shrimp. Sauté for 3 minutes, or until shrimp is done. Remove from pan and keep warm.
Add remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and onion into the pan. Sauté for 5 minutes, or until softened. Stir remaining 1 tablespoon of garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes begin to breakdown. Return shrimp and toss with pasta.
